Ashley Foster, LMHC
I am dedicated to working with individuals, especially children 10 and up, teenagers and young adults, to assist them through life challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, or transitions in life. It is not always easy to open up and share your innermost thoughts, emotions, and struggles, which is why I strive to create a warm and non-judgemental environment where you are heard, validated, and empowered. I have experience in working with children and using Art Therapy and Play Therapy techniques, college students, young adults, and adults and helping them overcome their life challenges.
I started my journey at St. Bonaventure University and obtained my Bachelor of Science in Psychology then my Master of Science in Education for Clinical Mental Health Counseling. From there, I have been trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Progressive Counting, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I am genuinely looking forward to joining you on your path towards growth and healing. Your journey towards your well-being starts here.
