Ashley Johnson, LMHC-D

Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Perhaps you’ve been feeling overwhelmed—stuck in familiar cycles, held back by past experiences or anxiety, or finding your relationships more difficult than you’d like. You are not alone. Many people try to push through on their own, only to realize that what they truly need is a safe, supportive space to sort through life’s challenges. In therapy, our goal is to provide a non-judgmental environment to start your healing journey and gain skills to help you to grow and thrive.

My passion is to work with individuals struggling with complex trauma, addictions, anxiety disorders, and relationship issues such as codependency, domestic abuse, and parenting needs. My approach emphasizes the use of compassionate strength based cognitive behavioral therapy to allow you to achieve your goals throughout therapy. During our time together you will learn how to manage the impact your experiences have had on your present life, gain coping skills to decrease the negative behavioral outcomes, and become confident in navigating your life through change.
