Licensed Clinical Social Worker

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in your head, or disconnected from yourself, you’re likely carrying more than you were ever meant to carry alone. Maybe anxiety feels constant, your inner critic is loud, you’re navigating a season of grief, or life transition. Maybe you look like you’re functioning on the outside, but inside it feels exhausting, lonely, or hard to slow down. Reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable, confusing, or
even scary especially if you’re not sure anyone will truly get you.

These experiences are more common than we realize, and you don’t have to navigate them alone. I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. I also specialize in supporting clients with eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image concerns. Additionally, I help those experiencing relationship challenges, grief,
life transitions, pregnancy and postpartum concerns, and patterns of overextending themselves or losing their sense of self. Many of my clients feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, people-pleasing, emotional overwhelm, or using food or control as a way to cope. Together, we work toward building greater safety, self-trust, and compassion, both emotionally and within the body.

Therapy with me is supportive, human, and down-to-earth. My style is warm, kind, enthusiastic and approachable, and you’re welcome to show up exactly as you are: overwhelmed, unsure, hopeful, tired, or all of the above. We’ll talk about hard things with curiosity and compassion, and make space for lightness when it feels right.

Professional Experience

My work is rooted in a Health at Every Size (HAES)-aligned and trauma-informed approach, meaning all bodies and lived experiences are respected and affirmed. You won’t be asked to “fix” yourself or push through pain. Instead, we’ll move at a pace that feels supportive and sustainable, building understanding of your nervous system and
creating change that feels safe and lasting.

I see coping patterns as adaptive strategies your nervous system developed to manage stress or pain not as flaws. Together, we’ll gently build new ways to feel grounded, connected, and secure in your body and relationships. I have a strong interest and experience in supporting eating disorders and body image concerns within this framework.

I earned my Master of Social Work from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo. I integrate evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches including EMDR, DBT, CBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mindfulness. These modalities allow us to address both the deeper roots of your struggles and the day-to-day tools you need to feel more stable, present, and empowered.

If you’re ready to step out of cycles of self-criticism, overwhelm, or disconnection, or even just curious about what healing could look like, you don’t have to do it alone. This can be a space to begin relating to yourself with more clarity, self-trust, and care.
