Professional Experience

I began my educational journey at St. Bonaventure University where I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology. From there, I pursued a Masters in Science of Education with a primary focus to specialize in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have since been providing mental health services in various hospital and agency settings by working with children, adolescents, adults, and families.

My therapeutic approach involves working collaboratively with clients to identify and leverage their own internal resources. I do this by utilizing a trauma-informed and strength-based strategies. I am certified in Eye Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and borrow techniques from the Ego State Therapy as well as Internal Family Systems. I became a therapist, because I believe it is possible for everyone to improve their level of wellness and heal from their past. Providing a space for clients to feel safe and truly seen is where that begins for me.
