Rich earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Buffalo and is thrilled to be in an environment that focuses on his favorite subject. Rich believes that mental health is very important to the growth of both an individual and the overall community. He believes in the mission of not only supporting the mental health of the clients but also the importance of providing a safe and professional environment for the providers.



Melanie is our longest serving tribe member and has been greeting each and every one of our patients with a warm smile since 2017. Melanie is our Assistant Office Manager and is one of your primary points of contact at both of our locations.

Melanie is a loving wife, dedicated mother of one and passionate dog owner. She loves working our front desk at Be Embodied because she loves helping people. Melanie is always open to taking your calls and answering all of your questions; or even just a call to say hello!

Patty B.

Office Manager

Patty is excited to have joined the Be Embodied team. As office manager, she believes this is a great way to share her life experiences and spiritual education., which falls within her passion in helping others and offering them support through difficult or challenging times. She also enjoys the opportunity to provide a safe and welcoming space to our clients and providers. Outside of work, Patty is devoted to her family and her orange tabby cat, Cookie. She enjoys gardening and spending time with her family, and she’s especially appreciative of a good Hallmark movie with a bowl of popcorn.

Ed Hilfstein


Ed joined the Be Embodied team as a receptionist in June 2023 and is excited to serve in a space dedicated to uplifting the overall wellbeing of the community. With a degree in sociology, and a background in yoga, meditation, and somatic regulation practices, Ed is passionate about the mission of combining mental health support and holistic embodiment services under the same roof. He believes that change in the world at large starts at the level of individual healing, which everyone needs and deserves.
