Nutrition counseling is the science of how food interacts with our body, and how changes in our diet can lead to changes in our overall physical, mental, and emotional health. The importance of proper nutritional education continues to increase in recent years, as more and more information becomes readily available to consumers online. Unfortunately, much of this information is either misguided, outdated, or non applicable to the client’s goals.
Anyone looking to make a change in their diet to gain, lose, or maintain weight, or learn about how food has been affecting them would benefit from counseling. Our program is designed to not only share nutritional information, but to also educate the client on the “why” so that they will be able eventually make future nutritional changes on their own going forward.
Typical session last 30 to 60 minutes, and involve chronicling food intake and behaviors that will allow for a personalized plan to be implemented.
