Dr. Rippe believes that there is a profound mind and body connection. She likes to find the root cause of the problem to help you embody a state of balance. If health related issues are impacting your life or creating distress on your overall well-being, Dr. Rippe will work in collaboration with you to help move you towards reaching your full potential. Dr. Rippe utilizes both coaching techniques and evidenced-based practices, such as Mindfulness-based Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy to explore concerns related to health issues that include, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, loss, and adjustments associated with chronic pain and illness.

Professional Experience

As a Clinical Psychologist, Dr. Rippe is a graduate of Medaille College. Her focus is in the area of health psychology working with individual adults 18 years and older. She completed pre-doctoral training at Roswell Park Cancer Institute working with patients and their family members on psychosocial concerns related to cancer. Dr. Rippe completed her internship at Erie County Medical Center in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine working with adult patients coping with medical injuries and disabilities. Dr. Rippe is currently completing her post-doctoral fellowship in The Center of Oncology at ECMC where she provides psychological care to patients with acute and terminal illnesses.
